Domestic Abuse Training: One-day Course

 

This course is aimed at employers, managers, HR professionals and group or volunteer leaders.

Our one-day ‘Domestic Abuse’ training course aims to:

  • Give staff the tools to recognise the signs of domestic abuse
  • Provide guidance on how to deal with disclosures of domestic abuse

It covers topics such as:

  • Recognising the signs and indicators of domestic abuse
  • The different forms of abuse
  • The legislation around domestic abuse
  • Who to approach or report domestic abuse cases to
  • Information sharing, confidentiality and consent
  • Guidance on reporting strategies, policies and procedures
  • What to do if you believe a child may be at risk
  • Information sharing, confidentiality and consent if child is at risk

The course costs £350 per person and includes materials and lunch.

Places are strictly limited to 8 delegates to ensure each delegate receives a personalised and high quality service.

Are you an employer, manager or group leader? Does your work involve contact with vulnerable adults and children?

 

Domestic Abuse Training: One-day Course

This course is aimed at employers, managers, designated senior persons, head teachers, group leaders and anyone working with vulnerable adults and children.

The course itself is designed to give attendees the confidence to deliver Domestic Abuse Awareness training in the workplace. Being able to speak in public does not always come naturally and the course can help attendees to overcome this.

Our one-day ‘Domestic Abuse’ training the trainer course covers topics such as:

  • Recognising the signs and indicators of domestic abuse
  • The different forms of abuse
  • The legislation around domestic abuse
  • Who to approach or report domestic abuse cases to
  • Information sharing, confidentiality and consent
  • Guidance on reporting strategies, policies and procedures
  • What to do if you believe a child may be at risk
  • Information sharing, confidentiality and consent if child is at risk
The fees are 
 
£495 for the first person
£450 for each additional attendee from the same organisation
