Aimed at managers, group leaders, teachers and designated senior person, this one-day training course gives an overview of Children Law and its applications in an education or workplace setting.

Our one-day training course aims to:

  • Give you tools to understand the types of family orders children can be subject to
  • Provide guidance on what family court action a parent may take and what you may be asked to do

It covers topics such as:

  • Which professionals become involved in a child’s life if parents start court proceedings
  • The roles and responsibilities of staff members/group leaders/teachers/volunteers in such cases
  • What action you may be asked to take and tools to help in such circumstances
  • What legislation applies to children cases
  • What to do if child abuse is suspected

The course costs £350 per person.
